Bikes and Breakfast

Today we rode up to Palisades NY for their BnB! Great ride and great time! About 245 miles each way. We met at HD Baltimore, rode out at 0630. Including 2 pit stops we made it by 0939. So much less traffic that early!! Took me almost 5 hours to get home! Many older bikes, great meeting new riders young and old… the food at the 9W Market was excellent! I had an omelette with bacon and extra cheese, soooo good!

Palisades Bikes and Breakfast

A quick hop up to NY in November! I think it got as low as 33° with a high of 65°! All while wearing my Helgrade mesh jacket! I love this thing!!

Bikes & Breakfast Eldersburg, MD Christmas Edition!

Great turn out! Many more than I expected on a cold rainy (till 0830) overcast day!! Rick gave out the usual beanies with (see title) patch for longest ride in state, out of state. Oldest American bike, oldest European bike and oldest Asian bike. And many other catagories! The couple pics of the bikes were only about 2/3’s of the total that showed up… the oldest American willer is the ‘56 Panhead. Great time with great people!! Thank you Rick!

Beach Day

Wonderful day riding!! Just before noon we left for Sandy point State Park. Rob went swimming to cool off, I haven’t owned a swim suit in decades, so I sat in the shade sight seeing and people watching. I really need to stop giving a F$&@ about how I look and just be me, swim,hike wear shorts out in public etc… Amyway, we headed over the Bay Bridge to eat lunch at Red Eyes Dock Bar 2.0. Amazing Plate of Ahi salmon with marinated ginger and seaweed (I think). We headed home around 1645 in rush hour of course! lol A little bit of traffic getting to 495. All in all, an amazing day out!! Maybe next time I’ll swim!
