The Pipers rolled out from the Lowell area and headed straight south, cutting down along the coast side through Taunton before turning west into central Mass. From there the route wound through Worcester County, swung up toward the Wachusett Reservoir area, and looped through the Leominster area — where someone opened it up to 89 mph — before heading back east to finish near the starting point in Lowell. 185 miles, 3h18m in the saddle, 44 mph average, 669 ft of climb.
